Re: Re: OT fics?/Threesomes

Well I am doing a B/T/W threesome I am doing a threesome story. I agree with the things that Jude says and would like to add some things. Just because someone is in a three way relatioship, it doesn't have to take away from the love that any one person may feel for another. Even two people in a loving happy relationship have things that are different, things that another person could be better suited to help. I know many bi-sexual women who have to have three way relationship, many are invovled in threesomes. I myself have had a few. In my oppinion they are harder to maintain then normal ones. They have to be based on honesty, respect and a complete lack of jealousy. They can work but it takes a lot of work. I too will drop this story if it is deemed nessasary. I would never want to offend anyone. Thanks for listening to my ramble. Jen

As a writer who frequently 'ships B/T/W together, I thought I'd throw
my two bits in. I started watching the show (with "The Gift") only
because of this "lesbian couple" (W/T) I kept hearing so much about
and I was never really a big SMG fan (and still perhaps not so much a
fan, but that's another story - not that I hate her, I'm just not
drawn to her like Amber or Aly). I found it very easy to fall in
love with W/T and (as the user name will show) and a big fan of
Amber. However, after discovering this list I quickly became a fan
of the B/W 'ship and could see many, many ways in which it could work
and hope that it becomes canon at some point. (Not really holding my
breath on that one.)

Regardless, I was very disheartened by some of the stories where Tara
was made out as the bad guy or was killed of in some horrible way
just to lay the path clear for B/W. Upon finding Hunter's Red Moon
Rising series I realized, 'Hey, it's okay to have my cake and eat it
too!' I started writing B/T/W fic because the dynamics of the
W/T 'ship are hard to ignore, even if you try (IMHO), but so too are
the B/W moments that have formed a strong friendship and bond between
them that could easily venture into something more intimate.

Not really wanting to give up my W/T, but really wanting B/W, and
slowly drifting into B/T, I decided W/T/B was a fantastic
combination. Each character has a strong point and a weak point and
they balance each other out in different ways. I found that together
they're stronger and more complete. Just like a tripod can be more
sound than a bipod... it's added security and strength.

That's just my opinion, as a W/T/B author. However, as a list owner,
I understand the importance of maintaining order, especially for a
list as large and busy as this one is. I do not begrudge anyone
their opinions and find no fault if someone is uncomfortable with a
Triad 'Ship. I also intend to respect the wishes of the list mods
should it come to the point that Triad 'ships are no longer deemed
appropriate for the list.
