Re: RE: OT Fics?/Threesomes

Personally, (not that my opinion counts for anything) i like B/W/T... i like the idea of W always loving B but "knowing" she could never be with her, so she falls for T, only to find B feels the same way..... anyway, yeah i guess it's like including B into something... but it makes for great fics... er, well in the sexy sense. <G>

Although... sometimes i don't want to read about Tara.. even though i still love her as a character... i'd much rather read B/W or W/T than B/W/T sometimes. I guess it just matters what one is in the mood for, and there is, as many have pointed out... a delete key.

Balance is important, i do agree with that wholeheartedly, and as one who almost always writes B/W only, i have to say that if one could switch back and forth, like the Bear has done in the past that it would help give more of a variety to the fics being posted... unless of course one is writing a long running series... And if more of the B/W only authors would post more, as Dan suggested, then they would totally outweigh the amount of B/W/T fics being posted.... sigh... anyway...

as a thought, perhaps someone would like to write an AU fic (or epic - love those!), pairing B/W early on >(say S2 or S3), building a strong dynamic between them, then introducing Tara later. Something I thought >of a while back, but my muse and I are still having issues.... if anyone else wants to run with it, please do >so. If anyone else already *has* run >with it, please tell me the title and where I can find it....

Actually.. a few months ago i attempted to write a B/W/T where they had been together since early S3 (going on the concept that B and W realize just how much they mean to each other during their time apart) but want to keep it a secret, not out of fear for homophobia or anything like that... but b/c W would be a target against the slayer... not the greatest idea, i know *shrug* what happens, is that W and T meet, become witchy friends, etc.... W has encouraged B to date riley as a "cover" and W does the same with T.... except that she really does find herself having feelings for the other girl.... lots to work through and in this case it would be more like, hmmm, okay Tara you can join our little party... lots of elements of BDSM, with B being sub to W... makes for all sorts of fun things... But alas... i couldn't iron it out and have abandoned it...

the problem mainly being that i couldn't get past the bond (of friendship, lovers, Dom/sub) between B/W enough to include T seriously since she was an entirely new character... sure it would make for good PWP, but i would have liked it to go a lot farther than that. With W/T being already together, and introducing B to the relationship, i feel that there is already a bond between B/W and it's easier to bring the three together, even if W is the only connecting factor... Totally AU could include T coming to Sunnydale in high school and becoming a part of their little group early on.. introducing close friendships between all three girls, and Xander of course.... hmmm... then you could have LOTS of teenage hormonal angst...

anyway.... just wanted to add my $2.15...
