Well, if you wanna be picky about it... Lurky said
that he would restore William's soul, true, but he
didn't say he'd restore it to *Spike*. I mean, sure,
he clapped him with some glowy fist (IIRC), but that
doesn't mean anything.

So next season, we'll obviously be seeing William in
Tara's body, not the other way around.
