I'm gonna boost CDS spoiler space, just cause I'm lazy. Plus I didn't get to 
see the entire episode, I had a class till 8pm and my VCR decided it wanted 
to be difficult.

OK, maybe it was just me, I don't know, but that shot pissed me off! I mean 
it's obvious they're setting up the Scrappy gang with Kit, Dawn and Carlos. 
Carlos being the Xander equivalent and Dawn and Kit being the new Buffy and 
Willow. Complete with Dawn looping her arm through Kit's. And Dawn, on her 
first day at the new high school, meeting this girl, who's pretty much an 
outsider, taking an instant liking to her, and becoming fast friends. Hmm, 
does any of this sound remotely familiar? 

Anyway, like I said, I didn't get to see a whole lot. But what I did see, to 
be perfectly blunt, bored the hell outta me. Maybe I've lost my interest in 
the show, maybe it feels like the entire Buffyverse is just off kilter with 
Giles and Willow in England, Tara dead and Anya off who knows where. I 
wasn't enjoying the somewhat family vibe of Buffy/Dawn/Xander either. 

And all the new people, Kit, Carlos, the Principle. It just seems more and 
more like a different show to me. And not one I'm particularly fond of.

Now I didn't get to see the credits, but I did skim through Dan's review. 
And a shot fo Willow on Buffy's bed has to be nice at least. It's 
interesting, they're using shots from future eps again. They didn't do too 
much of that last year.

Anyway, I'll be watching for a while this season, just not sure if I'll be 
using both eyes to do it LOL
