Re: Willow's powers.

Well, I already said that I'm glad they're not doing
the "stay clean" storyline, but I don't think they
have to make her Super this time around. So far she's
demonstrated sensitivity (maybe a wee bit of
prescience) and flower-growth, neither of which
exactly says "I owe you pain." Sure, the coven was
skittish, but they're a bunch of scones anyway, so
what do you expect? ;)

OTOH, there has been a lot of evidence of power
escalation on both Buffy and Angel (Cordy the Higher
Being, anybody?) So, who knows?


Re: The Procession of Backwards Evil.

I don't think they're going to make Buffy evil. Buffy
was a contrast, not a conclusion, to the procession. 
Remember, the whole thing was targeted *at Spike.* 
That's why Drusilla appeared instead of the more
appropriate Season 2 Evil, Angelus. Okay, maybe it
was contract/crossover issues, but I'm trying to make
a point here. ;) Spike has also interacted with all
the other bads save the Mayor, who had a nice line
about souls.

The Powers That Nasty are trying to show Spike Buffy's
"hard" side (It's All About Power) in order to set
them up in opposition.

Gotta agree with you. For a magically created being
who's a fraction of her own age either way you cut it,
she sure is becoming a large focus on the show, to the
exclusion of such minor, trivial characters like, oh,
say, XANDER AND WILLOW.
