This is, of course, me talking (checks time) yesterday's episode and Dan's
review, so....

Ok, that should be enough space, so...

First off, Dan, I agree with you in that the episode was pretty good.
Lessons wasn't that bad, if it was mid-season filler, but terrible for a
season premier, but this episode, I feel, was about par for the course for a
opening season ep.

Now, here's my good, so-so, and bad list:

THE GOOD

-The S/X moment was pure gold
-Nancy. The character was done good and remained solid through the ep.
Let's hope for more of her (as long as she remains constant).
-Anya. The scenes with Anya were done well and it's nice that they seem to
have stopped the character assassination (Let's hope).
-Watching Spike burn on the cross. Didn't actually like the scene, but
dammit, the effect was kinda cool.

THE SO-SO

-Dawn threatening Spike. (Yeah, it fell flat but dammit, someone had to do
it.)
-The B/X moments. Never been a B/X shipper, but the moments seemed
kinda...flat to me.

THE BAD
-Spike. Well it is kinda fun to watch InsaneSpike, most scenes with Spike
include Buffy and I've never liked B/S so...
-The god damned top Buffy wore throughout the entire episode. My God but it
requires actual cleavage to wear and unfortunately, SMG doesn't really have
cleavage...*sigh*
-Willow. Where they seem to have stopped character assassinating of the
others, they seem to enjoy running Willow into the ground. Fuck but
Willow's the reason I started watching the show!


Let me just say that I really like Season 2 Spike, and I didn't mind Season
4 Spike but fucking hell, I hate Angelwannabe Spike
