On Convergent Slayers, I thought the opening sections were anything but slow. Rather, they were a very nice set up for the main body of the story, which was highly entertaining, by the way. You might want to post the originalstory again, so the folks who have joined since then can put Buffy and Kyoko's attitudes into perspective (or maybe it's archived on a website somewhere?), and I would like to read it again. (Note to self, backups are a *good* thing). Nice to see an opening for a possible sequel, as well.

Strained was sweet and funny. Liked the pins, and the mistaken (?) conclusions drawn from them. And you can't just leave it there. There are way to many unanswered questions. Please tell me this is only the first chapter. 

While I, for one, was not especially thrilled with Lord of the Rings (didn't like the books, either), I would have enjoyed it a whole lot more the wayyou worked it. <g>

And yes, we missed you. Always.
