What can I say? Wow. (I'm sitting in a tiny dial-up internet cafe in 
Brisbane which shuts in an hour, then I have to kill another hour, 
then catch a train to the airport, a plane to Singapore, a connection 
to London, a taxi to the Midlands, and a lift home... *gasp*) And I 
thought I'd drop by to see if anyone'd noticed I'd sneaked in a 
couple of snippets and fics. I guess you guys still remember me! 
*happy dance*

I hope you didn't find my new writing style too boring/disconcerting. 
(I've been reading too much old-style prose lately, and it shows :/) 
I think the style used in Convergent Slayers 2/Strained is here to 
stay, for awhile. (Which sadly means the end of my Orb of Mentez 
style, though it may get resurrected if I re-read some Pratchett.)

Anyway, I have a few more fics (and snippets) in the works, and I'll 
be sure to share when I get back to the UK, and after I've had a few 
days to sober up, er, recover from jet lag.

Fox is well, and no, the comic strips aren't dead; they've just been 
on a hiatus. (Fox became a Guide on one of the Everquest servers 
which ate into her free time, but she's said she'll squeeze in a few 
strips, if only I can ship her the scripts.) Having said that, if I 
want to mirror the new story arc of Season 7 I may have to resurrect 
Spike... :< (Although Earth Witch Willow (tm) has possibilities, and 
so too does Water-Bra Dawn (tm)...)

And thank you Cab for becoming my new cheerleader! (Whatever happened 
to Panda-Mel? - *sniff*)

declared at the end of Strained," Buffy replied.
Willow giggled. "I guess they'll have to wait 'til the next 
episode."

somewhere on the 'net."
"What kind of sicko," Willow fumed, "would want to ruin the next 
episode by reading the spoilers?"
Buffy grinned. "Probably the same kind of pervert as write about 
you in a PVC leather body-suit with the nipples cut out."
"Hey!" Willow gasped, "I *am* in a PVC leather body-suit..."
Buffy coughed. "Told you so."
"Whatever," Willow sighed. "In that case its probably okay for me to 
tell everyone what my reply was?"
Buffy nodded.
"Okay then," Willow shrugged. "I said..."
