Once Upon A Time, There was a lil fic called "The Road Series"

....and it was pretty good. And things progressed week to week with
the bard of this series thriving on feedback from the lists. This lil
fic turned into two, then three, then four books in the series. .
.then all was quiet.

The bard looked around and said to herself, "Self. I don't think the
story has finished telling me everything it wants the readers to
know." And so began the Fifth book, These Roads We Travel.

The bard was filled with inspiration from feedings from the list, and
all was good. But then...

The real life monster reared up it's ugly head and said, "No! You
will not be allowed to write for a very very long time. You have
responsibilities! You have a family! You have me. . . a Real Life!!
Mwahahahha!"

And the fic stopped.

Then one day out of the clear blue sky. . .or the cloudy gray
rainsoaked sky, I can't remember which. . .the fic began whispering to
the bard again. The bard tried to ignore the little nibblings in her
ear, but alas. . .all was lost.

"No!!" Screamed real life, "You can't! You simply cannot abandon
me!"

"Oh, but I can." Remarked the bard. "And I have."
