Re: Dan's"Help" review
As always, can't help but read your reviews. Always sure for a good laugh
for sure, among other things. :P
Anyway, just a few of my thoughts to follow:

OK, I won't lie and say that when I first heard Cassie utter her little
annoying line to Spike I wasn't seething and throwing a leftover chicken
nugget from dinner at the tube. I did, and in the process got dish duty
from my mother because of the flying processed chicken that greased up her
new 55 inch Sony.
Anyway.,................
Yep, I thought for sure it was going to be those three oh so big words, 'I
love you, Spikey Wikey'. Ok, more like 5, but in any case, I'm starting to
agree with what Mike said. The rape has been a point they've brought up a
couple times, albeitly handled badly, but been brought up nonetheless. So it
could very easily just be, 'I forgive you Spike' or even 'I trust you Spike'.
Of course the forgiving bit can be bad too because of Dan's, 'Love. Give.
Forgive' theory he posted a while back.
But I don't think it's set in stone. For all we know, the writer's just
threw the Spuffy's a bone. It was ambiguous enough that it could be
interpreted a bit differently by each fan group I think.
On the episode itself, I liked it. I didn't love it, I actually can't
remember really totally enjoying an episode since 'The Gift', and this one
certainly wasn't even close, but I liked it. It was watchable. Cassie was a
rather likeable character that you could sympathise with I thought, and
therefore the Scoobies reactions to her death didn't seem so foreign for
someone they only knew for less than a week. There's actually a website, the
same one they showed on the episode, located at cassienewton.com that has
some of those poems on there. I saw it the night before the ep aired, rather
interesting seeing it onscreen then.
On one last note, who loved the Doogie Howser FanFic reference? LOL
