Jason, 

Although the girls from the car wreck were newly dead, they had in fact
been buried. Buffy falls into Meredith Todd's grave in the teaser, and
the Scoobs dig up the empty graves of Jane Atkins and Cathy Ryan in Act
1. (Well, Giles and Xander dig...for some reason the person with
**superstrength** is too busy talking to Willow <G>)

Chris may or may not have disinterred his brother, Daryl. Although we
see Daryl's grave at the end, Chris could have swiped the body from the
funeral home beforehand.
