Im normally not much of a talker here on this list, but having just watched the ep in question, im way too overjoyed not to say anything:) The guy in question was Scott Hope(the one buffy dated in season 3 i think?)And the gay comment was "just" a comment he threw out about all girls he broke up with it seems..
Buffy also talks about how all the guys she have dated have disapointed her, so i really think its about time she takes a hint and jumps the fence here.

So thats not all that im happy about though.. The great part was watching spike, seems he was the one who sired the vamp buffy was talking to, and in the end of the ep we see him draining another person. So I sincerely hope that this means Spike is back as a badguy(One of my favourite badguys really), and that the road is open(well clearer) for a buffy/willow relationship:)
