SPOILERS: "Conversations" and a name for It
Spoilers and impressions for Conversations with Dead People follow.

Should be enough. OK, first off, this episode actually had me in
stitches a couple times... did I see David Fury's name? Whee!
Poor Johnathan. Still, we now have a new interpretation of the Big
Bad... "It eats you, starting with your bottom." Tee. I hereby move
to christen it "Bottom Feeder." Any seconds?
The "ooh, is Buffy gay?" moment was brief, and Buffy shot it down...
though, honestly, just quick enough that she could still be in denial.
But was it just me, or were there some serious Andrew/Warren longing
gazes followed by signs of hero worship and/or crushing?
The Psychiavamp was hilarious. And Buffy seems to have eliminated, oh,
say, 7% of her inner turmoil (it'll take a while.)
Spike, ooh, Spike. Eeevil. Can I just say, "yee-haw"? Not much
screen time, though. Now, mind you, I hate Spuffy as much as the next
Wuffian, but Spike is kinda cool, in that evil, I'm-gonna-kill-you-now
way. Now that he's Bad, will we be seeing more biting action? Here's
to hoping.
(Coming next Spring... life-like William the Bloody figurines with
*biting action*! Warning: ingesting the blood of a vampire after being
bitten may lead to becoming a vampire. Keep out of reach of children.)
Note that Psychiavamp (forgot his name already) was able to put on
human guise almost immediately, while most vamps stay in game face
perpetually. Was this because Spike made him into a full childe
instead of just a minion? Or was it just convenient for the costume
department? :)
I can see why Amber didn't want to be in this one. Cassie was a
moderately creative replacement, though. I wish Willow weren't so
mopey all the time.
Dawn. What can I say? One, she has some serious magic coming from
somewhere -- is it Key energy, or does she just really know how to turn
a spell? Or was Bottom Feeder making it easy on her so that
Fake-o-Joyce could deliver her message? Two, she shifts between bratty
and halfway mature remarkably quickly.
Xander and Anya: these characters' parts intentionally left blank. I
guess they figured that Anya would have too many dead people to talk to
and they'd get in the way, and Xander... dunno about Xander. A Jesse
appearance would have been cool (though they probably wouldn't have
thought of the comics collection... liked the story, Kirayoshi.)
Anyway, here ends my quick scribbling of thoughts. Back to writing
(not fanfic, unfortunatly) and tests, and other fluffy, fun... things.
