Ok, as promised, here is Restless. I hope to get started on the dreams
soon. I got some ideas that I want to include that comes from something
else my friends and I are planning

In another realm, Aphrodite watched the witch and slayer with pride.
 
?Anyone up for a night of movies at my place??

?Buffy, are you sure you?re ready to do this now?? Willow asked as the
two walked down the street hand in hand. ?I mean, we?ve only been
dating since yesterday, and it?s barely been two hours since we killed a
giant demon human hybrid?
 
?I know Willow, but even if we didn?t admit it, we?ve been in love with
each other for awhile. You do remember what you said this morning when
you woke up right? That you wanted to wake up like that every morning.
I have every intention of that happening. But Mom?s going to find out
sooner or later. So I?d rather tell her now and get it over with
instead of hiding and letting it fester. If you want to wait to tell
your parents, that?s fine, I want to tell mom now though. We?re all most
there, we should act casual so as not to give anything away.? Buffy
reluctantly unclasped her hand from Willow?s. They walked the remaining
yards to Buffy?s house in relative silence.
 
?Hey Buffy, Willow, how was your day??
 
?Been interesting. The last couple have been. Yesterday, Willow,
Xander, Giles, and I got into a big argument. It ended when we realized
Spike was manipulating us, trying to break us apart. Last night we got
some more info on Adam?s plans, and then we went to bed. I got a great
night?s sleep. When we were getting around, Spike showed up, seeing
what we found. I figured he was going to try and twist things further so
I staked him. Later on, we stormed the Initiative, and were able to
kill Adam. We did this spell where they all gave me their abilities.
Then I, well I guess we paralyzed him with another spell and I was able
to rip out his power source. It took a lot out of us. We kinda invited
the others over for a movie night if you don?t mind??
 
?No, of course not, you know that. Thank you for asking first though.
Will Riley, and uh Tara is it be coming too??
 
?No. Mom, can we sit down, we need to talk, there?s more we have to
tell you.? Buffy and Willow took a seat on the couch, with Joyce
turning an easy chair to face them
 
?So, why won?t they be coming. I really would like to meet the guy my
daughter is dating.?
 
?We?re not dating anymore. He?s dead too mom. Adam caught him, was
going to make him a demon too, but he freed himself only to be killed by
one of his friends that was already a demon. I killed his demon-friend
too, by the way. But I had decided to break up with him before that.?
 
?Oh, I?m sorry to hear that. Will you be ok??
 
?I will be. I did really love him, and I?ll miss him. But he wasn?t
the right one for me. Oddly enough, it was Tara who made me decide to
break up with him. Buffy glanced at Willow, who was just sitting next
to her, to see if she was alright. She seemed a little nervous but gave
her a smile that it was ok for her to go on. ?Willow and Tara were
dating Mom. Since the night of that big blackout. Willow told me and I
didn?t take it so well. That came up in the argument. When it did, I
told her why. I?ve been in love with Willow since the very first day I
saw her.? Buffy stopped there, to let her mother take it in.
 
?Get out of my house you stupid dykes! I don?t want to see either of
you ever again.? Buffy and Willow just sat and stared at Joyce Summers
like she had grown a second head. They barely noticed her tone lighten.
?Is that what you expected to hear? Buffy, I love you no matter what,
you know that. Willow, you?re such a wonderful girl. You?re a warm,
friendly, caring, intelligent, independent woman, who also happens to be
quite cute.? At that, Willow began blushing. ?You?re everything I want
for Buffy. I?m glad you told me. So,
now, what did you do about Tara? From what little I?ve heard about her,
she seemed like a really sweet girl. I hope you didn?t go and break her
heart.?
 
?Well, I did intend on breaking things off with her. But it turns out
that she was the goddess Aphrodite in disguise, trying to find a way to
get Buffy and I together. Apparently, we?re supposed to be together or
something bad will happen. She said she?d always be guiding us.?
Willow moved closer to Buffy and took her by the hand. Joyce watched
the two young women and smiled approvingly. ?I love Buffy so much, Mrs.
Summers. But I think you know that.?
 
?Yes I do. And please, you?re family, call me Joyce.?
 
?You?re really ok with this Mom??
 
?It?ll take some getting used to, but I?ll manage. Are you going to
tell your parents when they come back to town??
 
?No. I do want to tell them eventually, but they didn?t care for me
dating Oz. I plan on easing them into it before I drop the bomb.
Maybe let them get to know Buffy first.?
 
?If you ever need anything, I?m here for you, you know that.?
 
?Thank you Mrs. Sum?..Joyce.? Joyce smiled at Willow correcting
herself.
 
?Take your time Willow. So, when are Giles and Xander coming??
 
?They?re waiting for us to call.?
 
?Well, you should make your calls and give us some time to get
everything ready.? Joyce said as she got up. ?We?re wasting valuable
time that could be spent watching movies?
 
?I love you, Mom.?
 
?I love you both. Never forget that.?
 
?A great night?s sleep hunh? That wouldn?t have anything to do with me
would it?? Willow teased her girlfriend
 
?Baby, it was ALL you.? Buffy said before stealing a quick kiss from
the redhead and wrapping her arms around her. Willow let her head rest
on Buffy?s shoulder ?Lying in bed with my arms around you like I had
been dreaming about for so long, it just felt so right. Like Tara was
smiling on us.?
 
?Mmmmmmmm I felt the same way. I love you so much. We should really
make those calls before I attack you.?
 
?Mom definitely wouldn?t want to see that.? Buffy said breaking the
embrace.
 
Later on, the gang was gathered at Buffy?s house, getting ready to enjoy
the evening.
 
?Dinner is served. And my very own recipe.? Xander said carrying a bowl
of popcorn.
 
?Ooo you pushed the button on the microwave that says ?popcorn?? Willow
teased, grabbing a handful.
 
?Actually I pushed ?defrost?, but Joyce was there in the clinch. Let
the vid fest begin!?
 
?You sure you won?t join us?? Giles asked Joyce
 
?No, you guys have your fun. I?m tired. I can?t believe you?re not
exhausted. Have you even slept since???
 
?Still feeling a little bit too wired? Giles replied for the group
 
?Yeah, that spell, that was, that was powerful?
 
?I don?t think I could sleep?
 
?I wasn?t even there and I don?t want to sleep? offered Anya
 
?Well we got plenty of vid. And I?m putting in a preemptive bid for
?Apocalypse Now? eh??
 
?Got anything less ?Heart of Darkness-y??
 
??Apocalypse Now ? is a gay romp! It?s the feel good movie of whatever
year it was.?
 
?What else?? 
 
?Don?t worry, I got plenty of chick and British guy flicks too. These
puppies should last us all night.? He said putting in the movie before
cuddling up with Anya. By the time the warnings came on, everyone was
sound asleep.
