First challenge of the New Year

NOTE: This goes out to both Buffy/Willow lists as well as the Magikal Three
since it sort of concerns all of them.

Hi!

I hope you all got good into the New Year and had nice holidays.
My muse was running away with the idea again, so I had to catch Maia and
sternly tell her that I have too much work in process already to do it
myself. Therefore I give it to you guys. :)
So here's the official first (I checked) challenge in the new year for you.

The Challenge

I was looking through some old fics and discovered that for some odd reason
(I can only speak for the Buffy/Willow shippers here), there are quiet a few
fics where Willow gets sent back in time/into her younger self as a basis
for a shipper. Now, that is not that odd. It is odd though that it seems to
be always ONLY Willow. Why?
So, that is basically what all this is about. Why not have Buffy sent back
for example (since I'm primarily seeing this from an B/W angle, but of
course you can also do it with Tara). I pretty much want to leave the
challenge rather open. You can do that from an B/W, B/T, W/T angle or
actually make a triad out of this. This is completly in your hands. I'll
give you though a few pointers that might help you along.

-Whoever you send back keeps her memories of course
-To make the contrast as plausible as possible and give the character a
reason to take advantage of the situation and change something, I suggest
the intervals of College->High School as a basic contrast
-Keep in mind what the knowledge of Dawn's existence before she actually
does might cause (just on a side note)
-It doesn't have to be a deliberate and wanted time travel, it can be for
example an accident as well

A scenario (for all B/W/T writers) I'd like to see explored (which would be
what I would write if I had the time)

Buffy's the one being sent back. I'd say either from middle season six or
the end to her time in LA (the summer she ran away after killing Angel).
Other than in the original timeline Buffy knows already that she can't run
away from her calling, so therefore she's actually patrolling and of course
wanting to go back to Sunnydale. Before that though she "accidantally"
rescues younger Tara from a few vamps. While Buffy is dealing with that
little matter from the start of Season 3 Tara stays with her. What comes as
a big surprise to Buffy is when Tara gets a crush on the Slayer (sort of
hero-worship or something like that).

Now, this is just how I want that scenario to begin. And from there you
shall form it into a Buffy/Willow/Tara story somehow (with Oz still runnung
around, uh huh).

I hope I gave you something to think about and that some of you will respond
to the challenge.
