I don't think that B/W would help ratings. There could definitely be 
a spike in ratings, especially in the episode when they first get 
together, but I think in general many fans wouldn't be happy and 
ratings would fall, from the people who would think that this 
relationship is wrong from the whole breaking the sisterly love thing 
to disinterest with lesbians.
