Okay I gotta jump in here<G>. I'm probably in the minority and nobody will back me up but consider this: Tara was gone for six months before she returned for two days and decided she wanted to try again. Willow didn't when or even IF she and Tara would get back together! Now, according to the Buffy time zone<G> that was 8 months ago, nearly a year by the time any serious Will/Ken eps will air.From: "Jolie <slyfox_kitkat@xxxxxxxxx>" <slyfox_kitkat@xxxxxxxxx> Reply-To: buffywantswillow@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To: buffywantswillow@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: ~Buffy*Wants*Willow~ Re: OT: SPOILERS FOR UPCOMING EPISODES Date: Sat, 11 Jan 2003 18:02:17 -0000 --- In buffywantswillow@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "Diana33" <diana33@e...> wrote: > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Jolie <slyfox_kitkat@y...> > To: buffywantswillow@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Saturday, January 11, 2003 12:22 PM > Subject: ~Buffy*Wants*Willow~ SPOILERS FOR UPCOMING EPISODES > > > s > p > o > i > l > e > r > s > > f > o > r > > f > u > t > u > r > e > > e > p > i > s > o > d > e > s > > s > o > > d > o > n > t > > r > e > a > d > > i > f > > y > o > u > > d > o > n > t > > w > a > n > t > > t > o > > b > e > > s > p > o > i > l > e > d > > I'm not a W/T shipper either but I can't stand the idea that Willow's soulmate was killed a few months ago and she's hooking up with Kennedy now. IMHO that is not in character for Willow. > > I don't mind Spike. Ok, I like bad ass spike, before he became pussy whipped, but that is just me. But I am feeling you on the last part totally
Yeah Willow lost it when Tara died. She tried to destory the world but as I've pointed out in other posts to other lists the girl's got anger issues folks. I think her apcolyptic breakdown had less to do with Tara than it did a lifetime of pain.
It's nothing new. She's got parents that don't even know she's alive. She had a long standing attraction to a guy that never saw her as a woman. She's had a relationship with a guy who shacks up with the first 'other woman' he gets the hots for. And then when she finds herself clinging to something that might make her noticible (magic) her 'devoted' girlfriend leaves instead of helping her face her addiction. Add to that her best friend she brought back from the dead who can't feel anything unless she's with a psychopath. My point? Everyone who's ever come into Willow's life has left her.
She's anger. She's hurt. And if she can find a woman who says 'Here I am. I'm in it for the long haul and you're not gonna push me away' then I say Will should go for it. The poor woman's mourned enough already. I think she's moved past being sad and is working her way into loneliness. It's pretty pathetic when you think about it. A house full of people yet she's totally alone. If Kennedy proves worthy, which I think she will if 'Showtime' is any indication, then Willow has 'this fans' blessing to move beyond her time with Tara and find someone to love or more importantly, someone who won't abandon her like everyone else has.
Just had to add my two cents<G> CN _________________________________________________________________MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus
