Hmm, maybe if you told us a little about this city and where you're locating 
it. City names are often taken from the local language or from the language 
of the immigrants that live there. Eastern states took their city names 
largely from British locations(New York, New Jersey), the southwestern states 
often have Spanish names on their cities(Los Angeles, San Fransisco) while 
some of the more prominent city names in the Northwest come from native 
American languages(Seattle, Spokane). Some details of what you have in mind 
for your city would help decide the city name.
