Thanks for your feedback. I tried to convey the flow of Buffy's thoughts 
and feelings, certainly at the expense of readability. Seems to have worked 
for you, though, for which I'm glad.

It works just fine without the trailing bracket and dot that either your 
mail client or Yahoo's mail converter misinterpreted as belonging to the URL.
