Buffy struggled awake, fighting the temptation to dream for just a 
little longer.
"Dreams are but the robes of fools," Willow muttered from the bed 
beside her.
Buffy grinned. One of the things she most loved about Willow was 
the wacky things she sometimes said. She decided to wake Willow up 
with a kiss.
"Hey lover," she whispered as Willow's eyelids fluttered. Willow's 
eyes opened fully, black pools of evil intent.
Buffy threw herself sideways as primal magic tore through the air 
where she'd been scant moments before.
Willow blinked, waking up fully, her eyes slowly clearing as she 
asserted her will over her powers once more.
"Morning!" She cheerfully greeted. Willow gazed out of the window as 
Buffy picked herself up off the floor. The sun was shining, birds 
sang. "Looks like its going to be a nice day," Willow said.
Buffy winced, rubbing her backside. "I hope so."
