Chapter 2

Willow stood at the open doorway watching her friend. She noticed 
that Buffy looked deep in thought. Her friend looked so pained, and 
Willow felt like there wasn't anything she could do to help her.  
Buffy had Spike, he would always be the one she turned to these 
days, no matter how much that hurt her. Deep down she was in love 
with her best friend and felt she always would be. Still she knew 
that the only person Buffy would let close to her was Spike. "She'll 
never love me" Willow thought, "I have Kennedy and she loves me, but 
what if? What if Buffy would love me? Maybe I will tell her one day"

Willow turned around and walked out of the house. 

6 Months Later?..Willow's POV

The Final Battle was completely unexpected. I can't believe Buffy 
came up with that plan. That was the most powerful spell I have 
ever done. I made the entire Slayer's in the world come to be, and 
Buffy had faith in me that I could do it. Just last year I was 
the "Big Bad", now my hair's turning white and I'm channeling the 
power of a Goddess. My year certainly has turned around. I was 
scared to even do magic after coming back from England. A lot of my 
growth has to do with Kennedy. She believed in me. They all did.  
Even Buffy, she asked me if I could be her Big Gun again. I would 
do anything for her. 

So the Battle was won. The First is gone, well for now, I think a 
couple of hundred thousand Slayers would be enough to make it lay 
dormant for awhile. Spike saved the world. It's really funny if 
you think about it, but I guess he truly loved Buffy, he gave up his 
life for her. I don't blame him, I know I would do the same thing 
10 times over. 

I am still with Kennedy, we all live in New York now. Not really 
doing so much of the Slaying thing, though there are still Demon's 
around in this world, but there are so many Slayers that I think the 
balance between good and evil is pretty much at an even stand 
still.  

Buffy, Dawn and Xander live in the same apartment building as 
Kennedy and I. We have set up a Training Gym for all the New York 
Slayers. It's quite amazing at how many of them there truly are. I 
love being this close to Buffy. Even though I am not with her, just 
being around her is enough.  

Buffy is dating a guy named Daryl. He helps maintain the Gym 
equipment and Buffy seems a little Smitten. Just another Riley if 
you ask me. Lately it feels like she is trying to make me jealous 
or something, every time that Kennedy and I come down to help out in 
the Gym she's always giggling and hanging on his every word, and 
she's looking over at me when she does this. He's not even funny, 
or cute. She has nothing in common with this guy at all.  

Kennedy has been questioning my love for her a little lately. She 
too seems jealous of Buffy, asking me why we even moved to New 
York. I told her it was because we can't break up the Scooby gang, 
and I mean it. My life is with them, I owe Buffy my life, and I'm 
in love with her.  

Though I think Kennedy suspects this. The other night she started 
this fight with me out of no where. She brought up again the fact 
that I sucked the life out of her to bring Buffy back when she had 
gone to visit the shadow men. I really think she is having a hard 
time in New York. She is always saying I take Buffy's side on every 
situation and I never listen to her. It's true though, I do take 
Buffy's side. I am a horrible, horrible girlfriend. I think I 
better work out what I want before I hurt Kennedy more than I 
already have.
