I missed the lines about "favoritism" before. Nothing like the sort;
as I've said, the moderation of posts is merely an anti-spam device that
the various moderators (seven of us, including Mr. Hamlet once upon a
time) occasionally use to edit/reject content, if need be. It does tend
to be somewhat random, but it's not really arbitrary, and the only
"favoritism" is that established members are given free rein, since
generally they are presumed to have earned it by not misbehaving.
(Which doesn't mean they can't be reset to moderated status; I actually
did this to someone myself.)
It's constantly evolving and somewhat uneven. Much like life. Nothing
deeper or more complex.
