Though you dismiss favoritism in your next post, this
sort of lends itself to it, IMO. How many others
(obviously long-term members since they didn't get
moderated) have posted angry comments? I know you
have, I have, and I can think of plenty others. A lot
of anger is another thing that drove me off the list
for awhile, too. I don't mind one or two occassional
posts that are angry, but when it gets to be a lot,
which it was back then, I get tired of it just like
many others around here do as well, I'm sure. 

Don't get me wrong, I realize you probably spared us
all from a lot more anger by editing Maria's post, and
for that I'm thankful. I realize it's a judgement
call, and judgement calls can easily lead to
favoritism (maybe not this time, as you pointed out);
and whether it's subconscious or whatever, I think
favoritism does indeed exist here, or at least it used
to - I hope to be proven wrong.

Anyway, like you said, so goes life, which I realize. 
That doesn't mean I can't swim upstream though :) 

And I'm definitely looking forward to some B/W
goodness. I hope it isn't dying down around here now
that the show's over!
