Re: "and he proudly named Willow."
Okay, I wasn't going to say anything, but I have to. I'm getting sick
and tired of people dumping of Joss' portrayal of Willow and Tara. His
point throughout the show has been that power comes with responsibility
and that when someone become really powerful it comes with the danger
that they might not be able to control themselves. This happened to
Willow. She later learns to control her power, but after what happened
to her who in their right minds wouldn't be afraid to try again???
Besides, if he didn't put up obstacles to her power, she would be able
to fix any bad situation making everyone else unnecessary.
I'm just getting tired of people saying "Oh, if Willow becomes evil
that must mean that all lesbians are evil." No this just means that
people who use dark magic without being relly careful might become
evil. Doesn't anyone remember Amy? She lured Willow into the dark
arts and took Willow to her "dealer". This seems more like an analogy
to drugs than the dangers of lesbianism. Some people just read way too
much into this in order to further their already formed opinions.

Okay, sorry about that. I've just been holding this in since that
article I read in Diva. Please try not to take this personally. I
welcome any feedback (just try not to cuss me out please :) )
