RE: FIC; Life; Version 2.0(4/4...for now)

Kirayoshi,

Neat twist with Willow having infected herself, and wanting to take over for Buffy. And the Joyce in the hospital scene was quite nice. Don't know if the Mayor would sacrifice Snyder to the PD that easily, but...okay. And I was trying to think of a circumstance where the loss of Spike might actually hurt the Scoobies down the road, but I got nothing. (He fights the Varhall in "Doomed", but it's trying to kill itself and succeeds; he's useless against Glory in "Blood Ties"; he's the one endangered in "Intervention", so his bravery won't be missed in that case; and he utterly fails against Doc in "The Gift". Maybe he was needed to let Buffy know that Willow was going after Glory in "Tough Love", but that's still a stretch.) So ta-ta, Captain Peroxide. Life in Sunnyhell just got a little brighter.

I always saw Mayor Wilkins as a political animal. The way I see it, if someone on his payroll were to betray him or prove to be useless or incompetent, Hizzonah would let him twist slowly in the wind. He didn't let Snyder go because Snyder permitted steroid use on campus; he fired him because he got caught. Of course, maybe wants Jenny as principal because he thinks he can push around the sweet little computer teacher. To paraphrase several Looney Toons cartoons; "He don't know her vewwy well, do he?"

And yes, dusting William the Bloody Awful Poet did feel most satisfying! Besides, Willow knows where her chasing after Glory leads to. Nothing that can't be fixed by simply not letting Glory give Tara a scalp massage!

Hmm, just thought of something. How would the spell that prevented anyone human from remembering that Ben was Glory's host body affect Willow's knowledge of future events? Maybe she'll write it down, then circa season five she'll look it up and say, "Whoa, Ben is Glory?" Then she'll put the book away and ask, "Hmm, I wonder if there's a connection between Ben and Glory?"

"Friends are the DNA of society. They are the basic building blocks of life. If you have a couple of good ones, treasure them like gold. There's nothing better. Ever look at that MCI ad they have, "Friends and Family"? Who do they mention first? Your friends help you carry the big weight in life. That big burden we've all got called, 'What the Hell am I doing?'"
