Well I'm back writing again.  Anyone following the story and didn't 
like where I left off, I promise to make it all up to you with this

Part 1

Buffy was feeling nervous about meeting Willow for lunch.  It had 
been 2 months since they had broken up and Willow had agreed to meet 
with Buffy privately at a local café to talk.

She had been pacing her room all morning trying to compose herself 
ready to discuss what she had on her mind with Willow.  She had 
missed her dearly and wanted nothing more than a second chance to 
make things right with the woman she loved.

Willow had moved out immediately after their break-up and had been 
living with Xander down the hall. Buffy hadn't known what to do with 
herself in the last 2 months that had passed. 

She worked continuously in the gym as a personal trainer to the 
newest additions of the New York slayers group.  Her spare time was 
spent in deep thought prioritising her life and what she wanted for 
her future.  She knew more than anything she wanted to be with 
Willow.

Her break-up with Willow had been sudden and left her feeling empty 
inside. Not being with the woman she loved hurt Buffy emotionally, 
more than any mystical creature could do physically, hell they had 
tried and failed, on many occasions.  

Buffy had died fighting, fighting for Willow when she faced the 
Master, and again when she went up against Glory to save the world, 
but Willow had been the one that had bought her back to life. Back 
to a better life, a life with Willow.  

Buffy wasn't ready to face the fact until now, that her life had 
already been perfect.   Not until after she had loved and lost her.

Buffy understood completely the reasons it had happened and now knew 
that nothing like that would ever happen again.  She had thought 
long and hard about the reasons, and had figured out that she wasn't 
emotionally ready for such a big commitment. Yes she had loved 
Willow, and wanted more than anything to be with her, but she had 
not been in the right frame of mind to start a long lasting 
relationship and hadn't taken the time to sort herself out before 
offering Willow the world.  

She had to grow as a person before doing so.  What it came down to, 
Buffy was scared.  Scared of letting someone into her heart, someone 
she loved so much.   Scared she would lose all that and at the same 
time lose herself, and in affect had done just that.

This time Buffy meant it, she had lost the one thing that had meant 
most to her in this world and she wasn't going to let anything or 
anyone get in her way, especially herself.  It would probably take 
some effort on her behalf to prove to Willow, but Buffy was focused 
and was ready to start on the long road ahead, if it meant being 
with the one she loved.

It was 11.45am and Buffy was going to be late if she didn't get a 
move on, "Lunch with Willow, to talk." that's a good start, she 
thought to herself. If only she could convince her legs to start 
walking.  She grabbed her keys off her desk and headed out the 
door.  

Who knew what was just around the corner.  Maybe Willow would take 
her back, maybe she wouldn't, but Buffy wasn't going to give up 
without a fight. She loved this girl so much. She just needed to 
show Willow she was worth something. 

"Willow Rosenburg, watch yourself! Buffy wants you back and I'm 
coming to get you." With that Buffy entered the elevator ready to 
meet with her destiny.
