First off, you guys know me (kinda). I've been around here for years and
I'm a nice guy, right?
I write B/W/X fics (and B/W, B/X, W/X fics). I write stories where two
or three consenting adults of either gender, form a loving, stable
relationship.
Up until I got cancer, I was an active duty officer in the Australian Navy
(intelligence and operations). I've seen huge parts of the world. I've seen
combat. I've seen stuff that no human ever should. I've done this with openly
gay, lesbian, bi, and het soldiers, sailors, and airmen/women by my side. The US
military has a 'don't ask, don't tell' policy. The Aussie military has a 'don't
matter, don't care' policy. It hasn't hurt the fighting ability of the defence
force one bit and I think that the US military should change its policy. I
support gay rights.
This makes me a liberal left wing type, right?
Wrong.
On matters of defence, foreign affairs, and gun control, I'm so
far right wing I make George Bush look like Germaine Greer. I DESPISE the
media. None of them would recognise the truth if it bit them in the ass.
But I'd watch Fox because it's the lesser of two evils (only JUST though).
It's bad enough that the XanderZone is fighting about slash
fics, circumcision, and the acceptability of the D/X ship. So please, could
we have less politics and more fics?
