Fairly ironic the axe fell on a Friday the 13th, isn't it?

I'd consider it more karma for adding Spike AND Harmony.  When half the
cast are vampires, I think it makes your star seem a little less
distinctive.  Plus I don't think the corporate environment is a good
long-term setting for the seriesthe "Batman" tone is long gone, with
Angel no longer a solitary figure out there in the night, but hanging
out in the sunshine (behind that assy "necro-tempered" glass) taking
meetings.  A couple of eps before it all comes crumbling down (like the
Pylean arc) is one thing, but the permanent change was a big fumble,
IMO.

BTW, I haven't seen very many of the eps this year (see "Spike"), but
has Boreanaz worn the fangs at all?  Angel definitely didn't vamp out
during the last four eps (the ones I watched).

I also wouldn't hold my breath for UPNit's not like they had such a
wonderful success in picking up "BtVS" that they'd be jumping to do it
again.
