Yeah, like shame is something to be proud of. ;-)

Fun fic, Jamie.  Had to love the girls being each other's Valentines,
dressing for the occasion, and sloooowly coming together.  Very sweet.

Also enjoyed the image of Giles in electric-pink tie.  (Does that go
with tweed?)   But I don't know if he'd really be into the whole
Valentine's Day thingit is the first one since Jenny died, and has to
stir up painful memories.  Indeed, Buffy moping in front of him is
fairly insensitive (Aww, you're sad on Valentine's Day because things
didn't work out with the guy who broke my beloved's neck??  Well,
boo-hoo! [Yes, Buffy is apparently over-with-a-capital-O Angel in this
fic, but the "having no one" lament would still ring a little too close
to home if I were Giles, I'm thinking.]).   But perhaps that's more
appropriate thoughts for a B/G list (Rainne?).

But that's all preliminary, anyhow.  Let's move on to:

So easy for this to seem hyperbolic, but it worked.  Nice job of
expressing Buffy's longing.

Oh, and about the end?  What Alan said.  Simple is best, sometimes.
