Well, the only real problem I see is easily solved.  You just need 
Willow to realize what everyone else does, that Kennedy is Rebound 
Girl/Substitute For The Real Thing.

I think you can have both.  One thing I loved about Chosen was these 
characters grew up, and were about to take on new responsibilities, 
but they were still the Fab Four we knew and loved from the 
beginning.  They re-bonded.  I liked that last scene before the 
final battle, with the four of them talking about what they wanted 
to do, after.  No Kennedy, no Spike, no Anya here, it's just them.  
And, of course, we had the Buffy, Willow, and Xander telepathic 
planning session in Show Time (With Buffy being the one to 
telepathically contact Willow, yet, rather than the Wicca initiating 
it).  Now, THAT'S an intimate bond.  Kennedy may have the body, for 
now, but who has Willow's mind and soul?

Hmm, speaking of which...  Have any of these "virual seasons" used 
the fact that they don't even need words, now?

Also, Buffy WOULD need to mourn, for a while, just as Willow 
couldn't rush into anything so soon after Tara.

I liked Anya, and, well, I can't say anything about anyone else 
bringing a favorite back from the dead in their fic, considering the 
most recent part of my current series  :)

I think the people writing virtual seasons are trying to stay away 
from the controversial unconventional ships.  Although, since Spike 
isn't returning to Buffy's life anytime, soon, and very few are 
attached to Kennedy, why NOT explore B/W or B/X?  Or even a three 
way arrangement?  Since they're SO bonded that they don't even need 
to verbalize with each other, now, how's any outside relationship 
going to compete with what they have?
