Don't know if I can get on board with "Kennedy betrayed us by

to get turned". Yes, there probably is a conscious decision (and
thus a

somewhere,
but with the blood loss and the imminent death, it's probably
tough to
be rational at that point. It is, after all, a decision that
Willow
knows Jesse made, that Willow knows *she herself* made in one
reality
(and is informed that Xander made it there, as well), so I find the
judgement a little harsh. But that can be ascribed to the emotion
of
the moment, anyhow.
Actually, I thought a certain red haired vamp implied that it COULD
be forced. When our Willow rejected her vamp counterpart's offer to
turn her, Vamp Willow responded with "You don't wanna play, I guess
I can't force you. Oh, wait. I can".
I'd guess she knew it could be forced from experience.
Then, we have the one Darla talked to, who didn't remember how he
got vamped. "I was kind of out of it".
(I'd assume a lack of vamped slayers would because the vamps
wouldn't
want themwhy reward someone who killed so many of your kind? Why
take the chance she still wants to slay you? Or that she somehow
retains some of her Slayer Strength, and is thus much stronger
than any
other vampire? Far better to drain her and violate her corpse, as
far
as victory parties go, I'm thinking.)
I'd guess it to be more along the lines of having one hell of a
powerful, uncontrollable, vamp on your hands. Slayers are more
powerful than vamps, already, and, as we've seen with Buffy, they
don't lose that power if they die and return. A vamped Slayer isn't
going to be a subordinate to anybody.
