i have to say thats probably one of the strangest things i've heard in a while, but it does contain a certain amount of merit...why would it not give slayers some sort of allergy, unless the advanced slayer healing also applies to allergies, in which case she would get them and get over them uber fast...i don't know...good question though....dizzyOoh here's a thought - I suffer from allergies myself and my doctor tells me in my case it's got to do with having an immune system that is too healthy. In other words, my immune system is perceiving cat saliva (from my kitten) and dust mites and such as threats that must be dealt with by responding as though I had an infection. Thus the stuffy nose and mucus etc yuck.My body is defending me by being too sensitive and when I could really do without its defense! In that sense, Buffy sure could get allergic to vampire dust. Her super-slayer-healing might even make her more prone to having a reaction to it.However, if that did happen I suppose the Powers That Be really messed up. And would Giles have to turn to history and discover that all the Slayers had covered up their painful and embarrassing allergies? Or is it just Buffy Summer's allergies combined with Slayer tendancy to allergies? Who knows? *VBG*Anyway this has inspired me to write a little fanfic on this premise which I'll post here soon. Hope that's okay, original poster of this concept!
