Don't see where I was doing that.  If anything, Buffy's 
overidentification with her seductive dark mirror made her TOO 
giving towards Faith.  She was still doing it after Faith awoke from 
her coma.  

Nor did I suggest that Willow was in any way responsible for Faith's 
downfall.  All I said was that Willow had always had issues with 
insecurity, control, power, possessiveness, and jealousy through the 
first five seasons.  In Faith's case, she admitted that she wasn't 
the most objective person because she had issues with Faith, in her 
words, sharing her people.  While Willow's a goddess, she's also 
human, and therefore not perfect.    

Now all that, alone, doesn't make one psychotic, but add a lot of 
power, and overwhelming grief and rage, and all the bad stuff is 
going to come to the surface.  She reached full scale Goddesshood 
with Bargaining (She became Isis and Ishtar, there, which makes 
Buffy...), but she had to face, and deal with, her own darkness 
before she could be the fully benevolent goddess she became in 
Chosen.
