I don't mind the "Wills" nickname either. I know most object to it cause it's no canon, but neither is Buffy declaring her undying love to Willow canon and for the sake of fanfiction it happens all the time. And I know the topic of subtext is going to be brought up, but those words never came out of Buffy's mouth(not I love you but I'm in love with you), but we accept it. Why can't the nickname be accepted as well? Anyway, just my opinion, but I like it. I think it's cute, coming from Buffy, Xander, Tara or whoever.
