One other thing to keep in mind is that while a writer you admire may not
have the time (or desire - it is your idea after all) to flesh out your idea I'm
betting there are a lot who would be willing to read a sample of your writing
and offer constructive criticism. Then as the story progresses, find one person
to beta it for you - to read it, point out continuity flaws, grammatical errors,
and other general constructive help. And keep on writing because the more you do
it, the better you'll get.
