I like using her (Dawn) for small scenes like that. In small
doses she brings a freshness/innocence to things.

As long as no one falls asleep while reading it :-). There will
be some action scenes much later on (of the vampire/demon vs.
slayer kind) but that's not really the story I'm telling.

Thanks :-).

That note about 'originality' is because I've run across the
occasional fic with similar elements, though not the exact same
ones I'm using, so I'm sure someone 'out there' hsa written a
non-crossover B/W centric fic where the canon-ish Buffy is the
one who travels to the alternate dimension. I just haven't found
it yet.

Granted, the ones I've seen have been mainly Willow doing the
dimension hopping in one direction or another. The ones I've
read involving Buffy seem to be other pairings ( Buffy/Faith,
Buffy/Cordelia, etc).
