Tony had about a page of notes, ideas, and some dialogue for the story. I
tried to stick as close to his original idea as possible but it was kinda hard.
Tony's notes and stuff were kinda vague and some of them made no sense (I
suspect that he was on his meds at the time).
Basically I think Tony took Vamp!Willow as being episode 1 season 1 Willow
who got turned (in the Wishverse) and who in turn turned Xander (both here and
in the Wishverse). Tony's notes made some mention of something in Willow's past
(remembering that up until episode 1 they would have had the same history -
Cordelia's wish was that Buffy had never come to Sunnydale, so episode 1 is
where the two universes split from each other) that Willow had kept hidden from
them out of fear. Of course Vamp!Willow doesn't fear much, certainly not any
aspect of her own sexuality.
I think that by revealing to Buffy that hidden part of Willow's (and
in a way, Buffy's as well) sexuality then leaving with the newly vamped Xander,
Vamp!Willow really threw the cat amongst the pidgins. The idea that Willow is
not only a sexual person (as opposed to the pink, fluffy, innocent Willow
that Buffy had always seen), but also sexually attracted to Buffy and Buffy's
own sexual response to Willow (it may have been Vamp!Willow but to Buffy it was
still Willow) would turn Buffy's world upside down.
Perhaps eventually Buffy would end up quietly trying to bring that hidden
part of Willow to the surface so that she would claim Buffy.
I'm not going to get too deep into vamp Scoobies territory. Somebody
else has already started a great looking series in that area ::coughs::
vampirestories (hint, HINT).

This was really different fic. Now Mike you said that you finished it, while Tony started? So was Tony going to the same direction as you or not? It is really scary to think about people's deeper, darker selfs, and of course we got a glimse, both canon and here of Willow's. ...and Buffy. Cuz canon speaking she seems to not be able to get enough vampire. sad, really. But you both did good jobs showing the characters feelings, Buffy's insights & worries, as well as Willow. Although it's interesting that VampWill suddenly has taken interest in Buffy but of course that's explained in the whole.."we've been talking about you.." cuz this Xander obviously has feelings for her where as the vamp xander from other didn't know her. Now, would Buffy had been able to resist if she had confessed her feelings to Willow prior to looking for Xander???
