Actually Dan, I've had two others FB on BHGW, just not on list. Ivy, who almost always comments on my stuff off-list, cause we have a tendency to get into long discussions about other stuff, and someone named Vicky who reviewed it on Ikoly. Thanks B.

Just wanted to say that I'm glad to see so many different authors
bringing us B/W fun of late. (Including a few that I actually
recruited for this list, but it's sitll nice to have the diversity.)
What's not so great is that feedback seems to have fallen off a bit.
Yeah, I know we had a holiday weekend, but that was *last* weekend, and
presumably we've been back at our homes/jobs reading all these good
fics, so let's give the authors some bardfood, okay? Feedback matters!
Yes, there's been good response to E's "The Bonding Thing" (funny smut,
always the way to an audience's heart <eg>) and Andy got a decent amount
for the latest chapter of "The Two". But Jin Hayte only got three
responses for "A Cry in The Night", Badbard got a lot of "welcome back"
mail, but not much response to "A Wiccan Gets T
he
Wiggins", Red Willow
only got one feedback for that lovely "A Firm Foundation" repost, Howard
got one for "The Morning After" (his first fic, IIRC), Bob got nothing
for "Bad Hair, Good Willow", and, as for the ficcers I brought over, no
one said anything about TidalWave's "Just Friends" and the only fb on
Raven's "Louisville Thunder" has been my own. (Okay, so there's a
"you're making me look bad" element to this complaint, I admit it. But
still, 1500 readers should produce more of a response.)
Remember, feedback is not only useful and appreciated, it's also a spur
to further fic. More feedback leads to more fic, which leads to more
feedback, which leads to more fic, which leads to…us probably going
catatonic from all the B/W goodness, but what a way to go, right?
More fb! More fic! More fb! Feed the bards!
…please?
Dan
who's been slacking on fb, sometimes, too, but liked al
l the
fics
mentioned above.
PS—Howard, the quotes look fine in the archive, but if there was a
problem when it came back in email, maybe you were using "smart quotes"?
That usually messes things up, IIRC.
Willow: "It's a good fight, Buffy, and I want in."
Buffy: "I kinda love you."
