&An Exercise in Complete Hypocrisy!!

Because, um, the fact that someone included the fic with their fb made
it real easy for me to copy and paste quotes from the fic in the
feedback I wrote below.  So, thanks!  And don't do it again!

(Sigh.  It's tough being schizophrenic.  Or maybe not.  I'm of two minds
on the subject. [/cheap joke based on outdated psychological
terminology])

Hilarious again!  And you're right, B/W have been spared the worst of
the Slashfic "Comfort" Cliche.   Benefit, I suppose, of having an actual
"best friends" basis for the romance, as opposed to that "the girls
don't understand me&gosh, Spike has really nice eyes" sort of stuff
necessitated elsewhere. <g>

I think this was the point where I started guffawing:

> Buffy: Xander! Can't you see she's hurting? 
> Xander: Yeah, but... OK, she's nuzzling your >neck, now. 
And I loved Buffy recounting all the "Prophecy Girl"-related traumas
that necessitated "comfort" and Willow adding to the list with:

> Oh, remember the time you broke a nail? 
Methinks I detect a slightly-lowered standard ;)

(I do, however, really and truly *hate* the idea of Buffy boinking Tara
while W/T are busted up, which seems to be a favorite of yours.  But I
snipped my rant on that, since it's just a personal issue of mine.  Even
in a comedy piece, it takes me out of the moment, though.)

And I loved this part at the end:

> Faith: Robin and I broke up... And, um, I'm all >upset about it,
y'know? 

As Giles himself once said: "[Faith] may have many talents&but&lying
isn't one of them."

So&will we get to see Faith applying her "talents" with B/W? :D
