Way OT: anyone see the new Salem's Lot and did ya like or hate it?

This is one of my favorite books of all time and I've seen both the 
1979 version and this one.   Have to say, the old one would be the 
best, even though Rob Lowe looks like the way Ben Mears is described 
in the novel.   The new one dissapointed me because they took to many 
liberties with how the original characters where written.  I do, 
though, have a fave scene from this miniseries.  You tell me yours 
and I'll share mine, 'kay?
