The heads up, Kira, is doubt appreciated by many but I remain a chronic,
chronic skeptic. The whole Tara/Benson/Cash/Contrat/Thing/Mutation, well you
can't say devolved it never was too high on the social evolutionary scale in
the first place. Essentially my guess is that this is the latest salvo of the
'did not' 'did too' 'did not' did too' argument about the whole killing Tara
thing.

I trust Joss about as far as I my two year old could throw him and since he of
the rotund and gravity well generating buttocks could not be thrown at all by
my scion then...well there you go.

Why do I think this is all malarky?

A reality altering wish such as this has never, ever occured in BtVS. It would
fly even further in the face of 'WTF-ness' that was occuring in every odd
episode of S7. It is so far beyond the pale of Joss as to be complety
unbelievable; he revels in his darkness and 'gritty realism' even though, I
gotta say, he lost a huge chunk of it with S6 and S7 so now it's just
'pathetic spin doctoring'

It is WAY too much like fanfiction; in fact it smacks a lot like those nigh on
infinite W/T post S6 fics that are all over the place. It's too pat, it's too
convient and it's completey un-Joss. Pre or post S6. At no point ever has Joss
'fixed' anything that wasn't leading up to an emotional tsunami of the fires
of hell class. Even the bad ones.

This sudden turn around, a public proclomation of such Deus Ex Machina-ities
is total bull. Unless the unrevealed portion of Joss' little episode that
never was has Tara dashing across the living room to embrace Willow only to
trip over an electric cord, pull the television off the the stand, it lands on
a board left over the last demon brawl, the board flies across the room, slams
through Spike dusting him, he drops his beer, the beer splashes over a power
stip which a laptop is plugged into, this shorts the lap top out so the cd
drive opens and ejects the CD so fast it zips across the room and decapitates
Willow in some obcene parody of a Rube Golderberg machine.

I tell you, let go of 'What Could Have Been' or 'What was' or 'What was
screwed by'. Just focus on 'What I can do.'

That's a universal 'I' not a personal 'I'. I'm not talking about me, when I
say I, I'm talking about everyone when I say I, yes you as I. Not me, you.
