Looks like I was having keyboard problems. I meant Xander/Buffy
:-)...

Hmmm... wasn't aware of that. Guess I just didn't see that kind
of interaction between them. Except for his brief bout of hyena
possession Xander always seemed too goofy for Buffy.

For me it's not so much the "incest" idea. It's the
authority-figure issue. I think there are only two Buffy/Giles
fics I've read that worked for me but then I don't read much of
it:

An unfinished fic: escargot's "All the Relatives"

A finished one I can't find right this instant that has Giles
going back to England for his father's funeral and Buffy goes
with him.

Of course, I've only ever read one Buffy/Riley fic series that I
liked.

And then there is the whole Dawn/Wesley thing... %-). Not sure
what the justification for that one is.

Of course, there are so many different pairings... something for
everyone
