well, that, and the fact that two regulars can't ever be together and
have it ending happily, ESPECIALLY in BtVS. had our society been
different, and Buffy and Willow HAD gotten together, I'm afraid Willow
would've been killed off/cheated on/had a severe case of memory loss/
or something else apocalyptic-relationship-wise sometime during the
first three seasons.
