I would be led to believe that it's the work of our resident fruit 
bad, luv.  After all, she is notorious for pulling pranks a week or 
so before my birthday - and this is  no exception.

Yes folks, I am still alive.  Went on 'nomail' for a while to deal 
with real life and the evil adults.  I am now,  however, back to 
getting mail from the groups.  Seems everything is in order for now.

Shad, vampire fruit bat of my heart, please instruct the cabbages to 
not picket my office at 3am with signs of the apocolypse coming.  It 
rattles the nerves of the little gnomes that live under my desk and 
they get all gittery.  Have you ever seen a gnome shake himself 
across the room under the sheer force of nervousness?  Not a pretty 
sight I must say.  Though they do make good martini shakers when in 
that state so I guess we still retain some sort of symbiotic 
relationship.  We should think about slipping the cabbages a 
sedative or something - I swear all I did was mention the lawnmower 
and they had a hissy fit proclaiming the end of the world.  What's a 
roadrunner to do I ask?

Steven my love - I do apologize for not returning your phonecalls.  
I feel very bad about it, but real life has taken over somewhat and 
I haven't been around.  I shall call you very soon and we'll chat.  
I figure if I make a public apology for my lack of answering the 
phone, perhaps you'll forgive me ::bats eyelashes::
