Wonderful to have you back.  Please continue asap.

Lots of fics out there where characters talk to silent confidants, be it
Buffy to Mr. Gordo or Willow to Amy-rat.  But this is poignant and
appropriate, Buffy voicing her emotions to the one person she could
never say them around before.  

Plus, the belief that Buffy's being cold towards Willow because of her
feelings is a lot easier to believe before the actual s7 plots begin, at
least for me.  The Buffy who instantly suspects Willow of murder,
against all logic, in "Same Time, Same Place", is not my idea of a
friend.

(Ooh, a skinned corpse!  Well, it must be Willow, because she always
skins random people!  It's not like she had a specific, non-duplicable
reason for skinning Warren or anything!  And Willow always kills by
skinning!  The way she skinned Rack, and tried to skin Glles and me!  

Yes, it makes perfect sense!  Willow flew 6000 miles around the planet,
but snuck off the plane invisibly, so she could commit a random murder
in the one town on the Earth where she'd be suspected!  Sounds good to
me!)

I could have forgiven Buffy if she'd admitted her issues from S6 were
clouding her judgement, but instead (as I said to Jin) that final scene
gets twisted around so Willow somehow has to apologize to Buffy.  (At
which point my head spun around and exploded.  And don't get me started
on "Mr.
Unconditional-I-love-Crayon-breaking-Willow-and-I-love-Scary-Veiny-Willow"
Xander, who, if his words were worth a damn, should've stuck by Will no
matter how "convincing" he found the "evidence".)  So thanks for
starting somewhere I can believe it's just a communication breakdown
between the girls, rather than where I have major issues with Miss
"Willow, you're telling me that some evil attacked you by playing on
your grief over Tara?  And you're expecting me to&what? Respond or
blink or acknowledge your presence or something?  How weird" Summers,
and it'd take a heap of fanwanking to believe she cares for anyone at
all.  (Well, anyone human, at least.)

Sorry, ranty tonight.  Anyway, good work with Buffy's anxieties, and I
await the reunion.
