couple of years back I had to deal with a five week old baby that had died in her sleep, she'd had a stomach complaint, been sick and choked on her own vomit. it was no one's fault, just one of those things, like Joyce (I later wrote a Tru Calling fanfic where I brought her back). she just looked like a waxwork but with these big black eyes because her pupils were dilated. and I look at all these scumbags walking around drawing breath and wonder why they live and she died. the world is a cruel and random place.

 but we go on, we strive and we make it better.
