but shows that Buffy's separation from the popular life isn't because
of anything she lacks, but because of what she is:  the Slayer, the

I look at the Buffy of season 1 and compare her to the Buffy of season
7 and I wonder if they are even the same person. Is it possible for
someone to get older but go backwards? Season 1 Buffy would be
completely horrified if she saw what she would become in seven short
years.

Season 1 Buffy was compassionate, intelligent, and full of life. She
actually had hips and tits (OK, it's a shallow observation but Jesse
was right, she was pretty much a hottie)You'd have to be blind or an
idiot not to fall for her in at least some way. I think all of them
fell a little in love with Buffy, even Giles (alright, it was a
fathers love, but it was still love).

series that Xander is an avid bowler (has his own shoes), the pin is a
subtle sign of her love for him; his interests are hers.  (I bet he

I never noticed that. Plus she did think that bowling was sexy (she
also found rented shoes sexy which is a pretty goood indicator of some
kink happening in the old Willow department). Did we ever see Willow
actually playing pool?

I totaly agree on the clothes. That first outfit (with the exception
of VampWillow's leather outfit) was probably the best clothes Willow
got to wear the whole seven years.

On the hair front, I loved the long haired look (Willow with short
hair isn't a great look IMHO) but I prefer her hair to be more red
(although the jet black of DarthWillow has its charms. I could see a
Goth Willow working well too). The mousy hair was a perfect symbol of
mousy Willow. As Willow gained confidence the brown gave way to my
beloved red.

speechless again, to the point where Cordelia actually has to ask her
if she's done.  Oh, well, maybe there are other girls&

Would have saved those two a whole bunch of trouble down the track,
that's for sure.
