Buffy, Willow, and Xander have time and again demonstrated their deep 
love for each other. How many times have we seen them not only risk 
their lives but also their immortal souls for each other?
Seriously, it's one thing to give up your life for someone (safe in the 
knowledge that your soul will know eternal peace) but to do so with the 
very real chance of your soul being destroyed or trapped in hell...
If that ain't the deepest, hardcore love possible then nothing is.
