Hello Everybody!

This is a personal favorite of mine and that's because of Spike.  Wait, I  
know, I know, but hear me out.  For the first few seasons, Spike was evil  
and I liked him like that.  He's got the whole bad-ass leather-punk shtick  
going on and he wants Buffy dead.  Before he fell in love with her, Spike  
was a very cool big bad.  And he killed the Annoying One...how can you not  
love that?



Canon Cop Facts:

The Gallery belongs to Joyce!  Ah ha!  In this episode, she said that she  
had to start a new business.  It never was clear before whether she owned  
it or only ran it.  Now it's canon: the gallery belongs to Joyce.

Apparently the gym wasn't the only school building that Buffy had burned  
down!  When Sheila asked her to confirm that she had once burned a school  
building, it was the 'one time' part that she denied.  Quite the little  
delinquent our slayer is.



General Stuff:

Spike and Drusilla, the eternal love.  Here we see Spike's twisted idea of  
what love is--not too different from what he eventually tries to build  
with Buffy.  Dru's madness and psychic abilities are first introduced.  I  
really liked Spike and Dru this season.  They were fun-loving psychopaths  
in the first romantic vampire relationship shown.  Damn Joss for ever  
messing with them.



Wiffy Stuff:

Check out Buffy and Willow united against Xander!  When he jinxes  
everything, they turn on him as one.  It's things like these that always  
were very Wiffy to me.  He's supposed to be the love of Willow's life, but  
she always took Buffy's side over his.  Always.

Contrast that to when she tried Buffy's lemonade.  Despite how foul it  
obviously tasted, she still praised it.

Isn't the difference obvious?  When your best friend messes up, you call  
them on it; when someone you're in love with messes up, you support them  
anyway.  I think Willow's affections are quite clear.  Her supposed love  
for Xander is obviously just a beard.



Wiffy Fic Possibilities:

Well, I have a twisted idea.  First, it starts off with Willow and  
Cordelia trapped in the utility closet.  Now, Cordy has a canon tendency  
towards school closet hijinks.  Add to that, Willow is acting almost  
uncharacteristically forceful here.  Isn't that pretty much how Cordy and  
Xander got started?  He, protective yet insulting; she, scared and upset?   
What if Willow and Cordy started making out here?  Then, what if Buffy  
caught them at it?  Think about it.
