The October doldrums...

Kind of quiet around here... is there something special about
October this year that is keeping people away ??

Or is everyone just getting things together for an assault on
that NanoWriMo ( http://www.nanowrimo.org/ ) mountain in
November?

Or working on one of those perenial 'October Halloween fic
challenges'
